Job Description

The Pages retail outlet in Shaftsbury Avenue has a vacancy for a Heavy Goods Sales Person with proven track record in face to face sales working in the Heavy Equipment Dept. You will be reporting to the Showroom Manager, working as part of the Showroom Team specialising in specific area & liaising with other departments and key contacts in the business as required.

As the first line contact with customers you will advise customers on the uses, range and technical specifications for our Heavy Equipment Catering products.

In addition you will assist with general queries, as well as handle general merchandising work such as pricing, coding and displaying clearance items for sale. You will also help maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

You will ideally have at least 1-2 years’ retail experience in a similar environment and meet the following criteria:

Essential

• Heavy Equipment Knowledge
• Computer-literate (MS Office)
• Retail experience
• Catering background
• Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
• Self-managed/motivated; working on own initiative
• Customer service skills & customer satisfaction
• Ability to meet or exceed all activity and monetary targets
• Good presentation & selling skills
