Rustins history began with their first shop in Shoreditch, London where Sidney Rustin sold wood finishing products to local residents and people in relevant trades. Their products include wood treatment oils and speciality paints sold to both DIY enthusiasts and professionals. Their wood treatment is designed for periodic use to help prolong the lifespan of wooden furniture. Rustins teak oil still remains one of their most popular products, based on a blend of vegetable oil and resin that provides a quick drying penetrating seal to teak, cedar and all bare woods. The oil can easily be applied with a brush or cloth, and gives an attractive sheen on both interior and exterior surfaces.
