An independent family run company predominantly based in Weston-super-Mare, Nickel-Electro, the parent of Clifton Food Range, established itself as a business as far back as 1935. The original company was based in Birmingham, where it developed as a leading manufacturer of highly accurate temperature control equipment. The Clifton Food Range brand takes its name from Bristol's Clifton Suspension Bridge, an iconic bridge famed for its engineering excellence. Nickel-Electro's expertise is very similar - innovative and highly technical engineering enabled the company to introduce the Clifton Food Range which in turn offers the highly versatile, precise and sought after Sous Vide machine and equipment. The company prides itself is being a highly established, strong and independent British manufacturer, a quality that is prominent in much of what they do.
