The attractive yet practical traditional design of the Kilner Jar has changed a few times over the years since its humble beginnings, but the principle has always remained the same. Present day Kilner jars now come in 2 styles- the Clip top which features a glass lid, rubber seal and closes with a metal clip and the preserve jar which features a 2 part lid with a metal screw band and a metal vacuum seal disc.
